Indus Surgical Training Institute (ISTI) provides specialised surgical, clinical and medical training programmes for qualified healthcare professionals.
Programmes may be conducted in collaboration with hospitals, clinical centres, laboratories, simulation facilities and visiting faculty.
ISTI programmes may include academic teaching, simulation, demonstrations, observation, assistance and supervised clinical participation.
The training is designed to provide focused, practical and clinically relevant learning based on the requirements of the programme.
ISTI programmes are designed to provide focused clinical exposure and, where appropriate, supervised participation in relevant procedures.
The extent of a doctor's clinical involvement will depend on the doctor's prior qualifications and experience, the cases available during the training period, the nature and complexity of those cases, faculty assessment, patient safety and patient consent.
ISTI does not guarantee a specific number or type of surgical cases or a specific level of participation in any particular procedure.
Patient safety is the highest priority throughout all clinical training.
All clinical participation is subject to patient consent, case suitability, the doctor's qualifications and prior experience, faculty assessment, hospital protocols and applicable laws and regulations.
Participants must follow the instructions of the faculty and host institution and comply with applicable clinical, infection-control, confidentiality and professional standards.
No participant may independently perform any procedure unless legally authorised and permitted by the relevant institution.
Participants are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their qualifications, professional registration and clinical experience.
ISTI may decline or discontinue participation where programme eligibility requirements are not met.
Participants who successfully complete the applicable programme requirements may receive an ISTI-issued certificate.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, an ISTI certificate does not constitute a university degree, statutory postgraduate qualification, specialist registration, medical licence or hospital privilege.
The registration fee is payable to process and confirm a participant's registration and reserve a place in the selected programme.
The programme fee is payable according to the applicable programme terms, normally on the first day of joining.
Registration and programme fees are subject to the ISTI Registration, Cancellation & Refund Policy.
International participants are responsible for obtaining any required visa, professional registration, NMC registration, permissions and other regulatory approvals.
ISTI may assist with relevant documentation where applicable; however, approval by NMC, immigration authorities or any other regulatory authority cannot be guaranteed.
Training schedules, faculty, clinical locations or programme content may change due to clinical, institutional, regulatory or operational requirements.
ISTI will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes and provide an appropriate alternative where feasible.
Participants must maintain strict confidentiality regarding patients, clinical information and hospital information encountered during training.
Patient photographs, videos or identifiable clinical information must not be recorded, copied or shared without appropriate permission.
ISTI's website, course content, programme materials, logos, graphics, photographs and other intellectual property may not be reproduced, copied or commercially used without prior written permission.
Programme details, fees, schedules, faculty, training locations and other information may be updated from time to time.
ISTI will make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and current.
Participant cancellations and refunds are governed by the ISTI Registration, Cancellation & Refund Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts applicable to ISTI's registered/principal office.
